They have some great shorts and everything is gusseted so you can move around. Their outerwear is amazing too. I’ve been a range of sizes over the years and found I do have to size up but it’s worth it and the fit is great. Nice flattering fit w/ nearly indestructible materials.

They make the best construction pants, all cotton, wide leg high waist, so flattering and comfy with a cool retro look. Also overalls. LOVE them!

We seem to just have to wear small versions of men’s workwear, which is neither comfortable or flattering!
I would love to know if any of your other UK followers can tell me otherwise!
Clothing and book posts both excellent – thank you!

I have been searching for companies that have gardening clothes with flexibility in the knee and bun area and will stay up.
As Ann Lovejoy would say, ‘Onward’.

They come in so many colors, there’s one for everybody, and they’re high quality and super soft, so they won’t pill like cheaper fleece does. They are not too tight and can be worn in many ways, like up around your hair or over your ears. I wear them indoors and out. I think you’ll love them too. She also makes a line of really cute fleece skirts to wear over leggings when you’re not working in the garden, and they work over other pants, too. http://www.manyweathers.com

However, I would love to have something on the opposite side of the belt to hold a water bottle! I carry one with me constantly and would appreciate being able to keep myself hands free.

It’s hard to find gardening clothes that are practical and fit well. One question: in many photos you wear a semi-fitted chambray or denim shirt in a lovely mid blue. What brand is that? Thank you!
